A general approach to the French language for travelers to France, Belgium and other countries where French is spoken. Emphasis on pronunciation and practical vocabulary. This course will emphasize basic oral language acquisition by stressing active participation of students through talking, listening and interacting. Practice dialogues for asking directions, ordering food, going to the post office or bank, ordering a hotel room, shopping and other situations the tourist is likely to encounter.
